When I was 18 I decided that PJ & Duncan – or Ant & Dec as they controversially rebranded themselves – were not only very good, but also very funny. So I decided to make a fanzine that, like my heroes, was also good and funny.
The first one came with a free Ant McPartlin-style eyebrow.
Time Out liked it – they got me in to write for their music section after I sent them a copy, and that’s how the whole sorry debacle I call my ‘career’ really got going.
