Girls Aloud singles boxset sleevenotes

I’d been present when Girls Aloud formed (I wrote the official book for Popstars: The Rivals) but who could have predicted the succession of pop triumphs that Girls Aloud, Xenomania and Polydor would cook up over the years that followed?

The singles boxset pulled together the band’s first twenty or so hits and the sleevenotes cover each song in turn, with some Brian Higgins interview bits chucked in along the way.

You can pick up a copy on Amazon for about fifty quid; as time capsules of 2000s pop go, it’s unmatched.
